Our History

Since its founding, AIC (Austria Iron Casting) has evolved from a small foundry into a leading provider of customized casting solutions. Through continuous innovation and a clear focus on quality and customer proximity, we have steadily expanded our production capacities and established ourselves as a trusted partner for demanding industrial sectors.

Relocation of the Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG foundry to our current site
1988
The Seiz family – owners of the St. Leon-Rot Foundry GmbH in Germany – acquires Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG’s Gußwerk II foundry. Annual revenue: €1.2 million, approx. 80 employees
1990
Establishment of the subsidiary SLR MetallbearbeitungsgesmbH
1995
Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000
1996
Installation of an automated HWS molding system with a capacity of 200 molds per hour
